The Fountain Lounge at The Roosevelt New Orleans, A Waldorf Astoria Hotel, the property’s signature in-house restaurant and bar, invites locals and visitors alike to enjoy their new lunch menu celebrating the property’s 125th anniversary. Guests are invited to select any three items on the menu for only $18.93, a nod to the year 1893, when the Grunewald Hotel was opened. The hotel was renamed The Roosevelt by the 1920s.
Guests can start this dining experience with the always popular Waldorf or Roosevelt Salad, named for the iconic hotels, or go local and enjoy The Fountain Lounge’s Crawfish Bread baked fresh with grilled trinity, crawfish and a trio of cheese. The new menu offers a plethora of Louisiana favorites including Shrimp Remoulade, Roast Beef Po-boy Pistolettes and Fried Chicken Sliders paired with fresh vegetarian and gluten free options. On the lighter side there is a Curried Chicken Wrap made with endive and curried chicken, and Crispy Cauliflower, topped with local honey dressing. Both visitors and locals alike shouldn’t neglect to experience the timeless style and dreamy ambiance of this age-old establishment—perfected with a refreshed, modern menu.
