In 1997, with one successful restaurant concept under their belts, The Taste Buds launched Zea Rotisserie & Grill. Inspired by the rotisserie cooking found at European food markets, Zea became a polished casual restaurant serving classic American fare infused with mouth-watering international flavors.

Zea’s first location, nestled in the suburban periphery of New Orleans in Harahan, garnered immediate popularity and earned New Orleans Magazine’s “Best New Restaurant” award. Demand for Zea’s unique flavor grew, as did the number of Zea locations. Today, you’ll find Zea throughout the New Orleans metro area, as well as in Lafayette and Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

Shrimp & Grits
Roasted corn grits topped with sautéed shrimp, Chef Paul Prudhomme’s andouille sausage, étouffée sauce

Beef Sirloin
Baby Bella and Balsamic Infused Glace’ with choice of two sides

Southern Fried Catfish
Fresh wild-caught Des Allemands catfish, buttermilk corn flour batter, hushpuppies, tartar sauce with choice of two sides



Trout Lafitte
Fresh Snake River Canyon trout fillet, seared. Tender shrimp sautéed or fried, spicy cream sauce with choice of two sides

Rotisserie Sampler
Quarter rotisserie chicken, 3 oz. beef and 3 oz. pork with choice of two sides

Pesto Trout
Fresh Snake River Canyon trout fillets, basil, parmesan, pesto crusted with choice of two sides
